It's great for both single blades as well as stacked dado sets.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003e100-388.BG\u003c\/strong\u003e has a rear slot that's meant to allow your saw's overarm blade guard to fit.  On initial use, raise your blade all the way up as you cut through the insert, without the blade guard in place, in order to provide proper mounting room.  Then be sure to flip the blade guard's anti-kickback prawls into their fully UP position before mounting it and then installing the ZCI carrier and insert plate.  Finish the installation by sliding the carrier plate into position after the blade guard has been installed, and lower the anti-kickback prawls as needed.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003e100-388.RK\u003c\/strong\u003e insert allows room for the saw's riving knife to work as it should, behind the saw blade.  As before, cut through the insert without the knife installed and raise the blade high on initial setup.
